Durability of Repair Metakaolin Geopolymeric Cement under Different Factors

Nowadays, energy saving, and green sustainability are influencing the development of all industries, including construction industry. In recent years, geopolymeric cement concrete have become hot topic materials as a replacement for traditional OPC; this work carried out orthogonal experiments to identify four potential factors affecting basic properties metakaolin-geopolymeric specimens. The results showed that metakaolin activator contents were two primary factors. Given importance studying durability building restoration in harsh environments, experiment focused on testing bond strength, permeability resistance, sulphate corrosion freeze-thaw resistance geopolymer pastes with different proportions dopant alkali content. findings formed specimens significantly improved when suitable incorporated, strength was also improved. Moreover, microscopic tests, SEM FT-IR experiments, used better reflect changing pattern. best achieved ratio 1.5 cementitious material 0.3. It can be concluded appropriate content give excellent performance under conditions, which will contribute wide application geopolymer.
